Coventry job and careers fair - 28 November 2009
Experts will be on hand to offer careers advice and interview tips along with help writing CVs and filling out application forms on Saturday, November 28 between 10am and 4pm.
The event is being run by careers advice service nextstep West Midlands and it will take place at the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Partnership’s Tower Court base on Courtaulds Way in Foleshill.
Advisors from Learndirect and Jobcentre Plus will also be available throughout the day to discuss job vacancies and the skills courses that are available.
Fran Downes from nextstep West Midlands, which is funded by the Learning and Skills Council West Midlands and West Midlands Leaders Board (WMLB) as part of a regional European Social Fund programme, said: “This is a free event which jobseekers of all ages and people interested in changing careers can turn up to at anytime during the day and take advantage of a range of services.
“Our careers advice days are always really well attended and we expect the event on November 28 to be no different.
“Everyone who comes along will also receive a free jobseekers guide which provides vital information to help individuals make the most of their skills and learn how to present themselves to employers in to today’s job market” .
